MORE MAHA'ULEPU INFORMATION
Remote, rugged, historical, and beautiful Maha'ulepu typically has strong winds. Windsurfing and kite surfing are the most common ocean activities. Occasional snorkeling can occur during extreme calms, which mostly happen in the winter. Dirt parking lot. No facilities.

TOPOGRAPHY
Shoreline of sandy coves / bays with sandstone points. Mixed reef and sand underwater.

DIRECTIONS
Accessible by a long dirt road on the south shore just east of Poipu. Take Poipu Rd past the Hyatt where it becomes a dirt road. Take a right when the road dead ends (stop sign) then go through the gate and past the guard shack to the parking area.
